Gentle yoga
A free yoga class is held every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ Community Hall, 203 Washington St., New Smyrna Beach.
Participants must bring their own gear.
Gentle yoga
Gentle Yoga with Becky Collins meets Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at The Hub on Canal, 132 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach.
Focusing on stretching, stretching and breathing exercises, Ms. Collins guides participants through gentle stretching techniques that can help de-stress the body and reduce stress. Beginners are welcome. Class for ages 10 and up.
Fee is $10 per class. Limited Registration 11.

Daytona Beach Pools
City of Daytona Beach Campbell Aquatic Center, 400 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George W. The swimming pool offers access on Engram Blvd.
Swimming hours in Cyprus are Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for ages 17 and younger.
Campbell Aquatic Center is temporarily closed for renovations to both pools and installation of a new motor pump.

Dickerson Center
Daytona Beach residents can feel the burn with cardio kickboxing at the Dickerson Center at 308 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m., and from 5 to 6 p.m. for youth ages 5 to 17. $5 per person for each session.

Grown People Basketball meets every Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Midtown Cultural and Educational Center, 925 George W. Held on Engram Blvd., Daytona Beach.

South Ormond Neighborhood Center
The South Ormond Neighborhood Center is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at 176 Division Ave., Ormond Beach.
The center has baseball fields and basketball. The tennis courts are closed as the center is renovated.

Mars Yoga
Tuesday Yoga at the Fraser Gallery with Kim Latford meets Nov. 29 from 5:20 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach.
Yoga experience is not required; Open to ages 16 and up. Participants must bring their own mattress. Seats will be provided to do chair yoga.
Cost is $14 for members and $15 for non-members. It is free for veterans.

YSG Community Centre
Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Yvonne Scarlett-Golden Cultural and Educational Center, 1000 Vine St., Daytona Beach. Fee is $40 per month.

Mercury yoga in the gallery

Senior Fitness Class
JoJo’s Fitness and Fun, an exercise class for seniors, is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Ponce Inlet Community Center, 4670 S. Meet at Peninsula Drive.
Class will focus on cardio, strength and balance. Hand-held weights, and resistance bands and balls are used. All equipment is provided. Participants should bring a water bottle. The first class is free, then $6 per class.

Chair yoga classes
Chair yoga classes are offered on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm at the Daytona Beach Shores Community Center, 3000 Bellemeade Drive.
A class for those who practice sitting and standing poses using a chair to help improve balance, posture, energy, breathing, strength, flexibility and relaxation.
The center offers floor-to-standing gentle yoga classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Yoga classes are taught by certified yoga teacher Marty Williams.
The cost is $8. Daytona Beach Shores residence and membership not required.
